High 5!!

Firstly, a moment of silence for the recent death concerning Michael Jackson, King of Pop. Your presence shall be missed. Rest in peace Mr. Jackson. Your legacy shall forever more embed within us.

Okay..
Sudah lama tak blog, sekarang bila nak blog, rasa weird.
. . .
To post, or not to post.
Bila baca blog orang, rasa macam ada tanggungjawab to post something.
But then bila tulis, wahhhh, writer's block.
confused

Semester ended; like two weeks ago? I forgot.
Second year will only start a month later.

A little recap about what happened a while back,
in no particular orders.

I had flu for three weeks. No kidding.
I thought I might be down with H1N1.
eek

I miss my boy Sun Chin already.
He left for UKM.

Soon, I will miss the Wei Ming and Chor Jaur too.
cry
Chor Jaur will start working and the other one would go back to Singapore.

Attended the SEARCH Conference at Sheraton Subang Hotel a while back. The presenters were really good.

Except for some, whom I couldn't understand a single word they are uttering. Those from Russia, Thailand, Korean *sadly* and etc. I was like har what? rolleyes

Overall, it was truly a learning experience to be able to witness and be part of an international conference, listening to all those informative, intellectual and in depth discussion.
Oh and another thing, they served good food mrgreen

His name is Kevin something, no?
I forgot his name since it was almost a month ago.
He is some lawyer from the States.

Boon, one of the photographers during the two days conference.
Photos credited to him and Edmund.

I forgot her name too.
But she is really really smart.
All I remember is she is from UK.

This one, I remember.
Akil Yunus, Seremban (Malaysia).
HAHAAHA lol

Also, I was one of the 30 students chosen for a one day workshop with 8TV crew. Marion Counter came and shared her experience as a TV personility. That's when all the guys drooled over her. She really is a charming person though, astonishgly attractive too :) We were introduced to a few more crews of the 8TV, including CEO Ahmad Izham came and his boss whom I forgot his name. The main objective of this workshop was too present a fresh idea for 8TV's future television programme. We were grouped, guided and later presented our ideas to Ahmad Idham at the end of the workshop. It was an honor to be able to present and sell our ideas to him though :) Three ideas were accepted at the end of the workshop; Leonard's group, my group and i forgot the other one. However, Leonard and his group won themselves RM500 for protruding the best idea.

They provided us with all these toys.
Bubbles, soft toys, weird looking spectacles and etc.
Creativity purposes lol
So fun!

Next, Leonard and a few of us joined a short film competition.
*whispers I hope we win*
Filming was fun la. But the short film will only allowed to be widely distributed later in July.
:)

Leonard; producer and creator and Raffi the talented photographer, camera man
and everything else concerning cameras and editing.

Another part of the crew.

How the assistant producer slash diva in bracket self-proclaimed actress bullied the cameraman
lol

Also, SuLin's trip to Subang Jaya. She stayed for almost a week. Brought her her and there. Supper and yum char with my gang. Shopped till she drop. And met up session with May Ling and Leithiga in Sunway Pyramid :)
We decided to get a photo in that booth thingy.
So funny I tell you. It was our first time you see.
And then the music started playing. Real fast tempo tune and then suddenly the machine would say 3,2,1 *snap* and then I would go HAR HAR?
I would scream the tune make me kan cheong lar...
and then Leithiga would laugh and laugh.
May Ling and Su Lin would just go around the booth in search for the perfect angle to have their pictures taken.

No pictures to upload. There were all in May Ling's and Su Lin's camera :)

World, I would like you to meet the new born
Abrielle Lee :)
I don't know bout you, but I love babies
Babies are really beautiful and amazing :)

Breaking all the rules when we get together

My life can never be more flamboyant than these : )

1. The Taylor's MassColympics. Was exhaunstingly exciting, despite the fact that my team got erm *coughkickedout* at the first round. But it's amazingly weird that the team right after us manage to get in to the 2nd round. Erm hello? Oh, how can I forget this. I did rock climbing for the second time too. Woo. It reminded me of the adrenaline rush when I was half way dangling upthere, and how I strived myself to touch the flag at the peak. Fuuh. Chun-ted.

2. A group of machoistic boys yelled hysterically when they saw a cockcroach. A cockcroach. Goodness I tell you. Imagine this. You were upstairs, bathing peacefully in your bathroom, singing away. And then you heard them boys screaming downstairs. The first image which cross your mind would definitely be them boys fooling around as usual. Horrificly, after the bathing-&-pretending-to-be-popstar-in-the-bathroom-session, you open your door and saw two of the most machoistic boys upstairs, one of them screaming as the other one giggles his ass off, yet the irony of it is, the giggling one the one who most terrified with the cockcroach. Whilst the other two downstairs filled their hands with spraying pesticide and a stack of newspapers, turning my house upside down with the mission of killing that insect. Still, I love my boys like that :)

3. A pleasant meet-up session with SuLin :) How she shopped and tried on clothes, how we bloated ourselves with dinner in Manhattan Fish Market, how we sang aloud in the restaurant ignoring the eyes which stares at us :) Oh, it was fun alright.

4. Leonard threw me in for a treasure hunt organized by the Christian Fellowship society. My team lost. I blame KeeTat :) Hellooo, this dude had the time to stop, and bought himself a can of 100 plus while Aaron and I were running like chickens to the next base wth. Lol. Whereas my other team member Jesslyn, was always no where to be found, but somehow the four of us managed to reach the next base together. Bizarely funny in a way mrgreen Haha.

5. Dinner and window shopping with my old man Eng Tien can never be more electrifying (literally) and blur :/ Dia sangat blur lah I tell you, in an adorable way that is :) And also my lunch date with Soon Han a few days later, was satisfyingly full. Carl's Junior for brunch okay. Life's good biggrin

6. My outings with Kenneth and Leonard. Of conquering the skating park and playground, and having a picnic on a blisful evening accompanied by a bottle of cheap sparkling juice, snacks and bubbles :) The sky was at its perfect, and the wind whispers as we dance around the garden, blowing bubbles for all to embrace. Times like these are what I wish to engrave.

7. Dionne's barbecue was hot, literally. Hello, its barbecue? lol. Of Evonne's persistence of bullying me and how Kenneth's sweat dripped onto the barbecue pit as he fans the fire, made the chicken tasted awfully delicious. Haha.

8. Oh Oh. Vandalism has never been more fun. I vandalized Aaron Teh's car :) And he is loving it. LOL razz

Damn it

I am annoyed because of my Media Literacy result!! Which leads me onto losing the opportunity to present in an international conference called SEARCH, the South East Asean Research in Communication and Humanity. You see, what happened was, our lecturer had chosen her speakers based on the result of the test she have us last week. And I only scored averagely. And according to her, my analysis was very good yet my point to support my analysis was not evident enough. So yes, there goes my opportunity to present in that international conference. I want it so badly actually, because I know I can do it. Oh wells, I screwed up that paper. Sigh. It's not my time yet I guess. cry

Yet, congratulations to 10 of my classmates who were chosen to share the same stage with scholars and professors around the world. Go rock the world classmates!! I'll be there to support every one of you biggrin

Honestly, I have troubles with Media Literacy I tell you. My grades were good for every subject except this. URGH. why why why.

Things had been preety messy lately. Semester break starting, despite the overload of assignments. Met a lot of new friends, like them yet loving the old friends even more now. A few of the familiar faces of the class becomes closer at heart. Yes, life is preety good right now......
...except for Media Literacy!!mad
